i know theres u got to be ath before being admin but who would use like to see become admin in the future and say why u would like them to be also if any past admins who u would like to do the job again?

Hi,

You don't actually have to be an ATH before becoming an Admin. The ATH team is not the first step in joining our admin team, and by joining the ATH team this doesn't guarantee you being promoted but may help if you have hosting experience.

I think Mart....aka AnotherChance would make a great admin again. Hes seems to be a down to earth guy and he did a wonderful job as admin before. My vote goes to him.

shouldnt the site be looking for new admins with new ideas.reinstating old admins is a step back

The question was stated....any past admins who you would like to do the job again? As far as taking a step backwards...it wouldnt be a problem because many of the past admins had great ideas and I'm sure they still have lots of ideas to better the site. Also you dont have to be an admin to express ideas to help better the site.

I respect all of the opinions given here, and I'll now give mine.

I'm a big believer of second chances, so bringing a few veteran administrators back would be a good idea, but I do believe fresh players with good ideas always deserve a chance.

well heres my post... ill try to be nice this time ..

Anyway, I think bring back the old admins and taking out some others, no disrispect here would be the best thing the site could do! But rather than letting them apply and the team deaciding I think it should be down to the players to decide especially the active ones because I think it's us who really know the people via playing and chatting to them.

Rason i say bring back the old ones would be good idea is because they have been there done that n got the T shirt, but then leaving, them who has stayed on the site to play also then have seen how it's being run and hopefully they will have picked up on that then if they was to come back and if the team was to listen to them then maybe pick up on the nitty gritty things that if was solved might just make the site more enjoyable,

Now bringing new and fresh admins is also a good idea if you choose the right ones because I think they go into the team and sort of follow other admins foot steps, don't get me wrong here sometimes it's good but some tend to follow others that arent like so much by the players, then end uo taking things too serious, which then people start moaning about and dont like the site for whatever reason so taking some out, and then adding more i think would be for the best.

Now bringing new admins on i think is good as benny said they are new and fresh with new ideas and roaring to go try out new things which is brilliant because these are always good things!

Now the ones i would say bring back are Blues, coming back blue or red too : Be_As_One, Manutd81, MagicalChamp, Teddybear7, xfallenangelx and kevybadboy

what about a Vote for the next admin? 5 choices in the poll... admins select who they believe are suitable. PLayers then vote

How would the voting be controlled to start with? A poll on the forum? Not all players are members of the forum or know how to use it. This alone means it wouldn't be a fair representation of the entire site.

I think the best thing you can do if you want to recommend someone to be admin is emailing the admin team leader thing. Or convince to apply for the position!

We take all these suggestions into consideration. Everyone has a different personality and aren't always going to get along or see eye to eye with everyone. We are not going to have a poll as this is confidential information. If you would like to recommend someone for admin you can either p2p me, send me a message here in the forum or email me. Please be serious about this and not overload my p2p's or inbox with silly request.

There is also a post in the frequently asked question section here in the forum that lists all the qualifications if you would like to apply or refer someone for an admin position.

Thanks for the nice remarks Grant. You miss my star tourneys do ya hehe . Sorry bud think times are changeing here. Looks to me like there are some good admin, some should be removed for lack of interest or availablity to site. No disrespect tended to anyone. Happy gameing folks take care.
